पिञ्जडाको चरा जस्तै खुम्चिएको पखेटाले

आज फेरि जिन्दगीमा एउटा उडान लिन चाहेँ

उड्न सक्चु सक्दिन त्यसको चिन्ता कहाँ छ र

जिन्दगीमा फेरि मैले एउटा कदम चाल्न चाहेँ॥

सपना देख्ने आँखहरुले सपना नै भुले पनि

एउटा अर्को सपना मैले आज बुन्न चाहेँ

उठियो-लडियो कयौँ पटक, नदु:खेको कहा हो र

जिन्दगीमा फेरि पनि लड्न अनि उठ्न चाहेँ॥

बानि छैन उड्ने पनि कसरि पो गर्ने हो

आकास छुने ईच्छा राखि एउटा छलान मार्न चाहेँ

जिन्दगीमा गल्ति गर्न हुन्न कहाँ लेख्या छ र

एउटा अर्को गल्ति सहि, मैले केहि सिक्न चाहेँ॥

आज मैले गरिन त भोलि पनि गर्ने छैन

भोलेको त्यो जिन्दगीलाई वाटो खन्न आज चाहेँ

भयो गयो सबै सकियो दोसि यहाँ को नै छ र

भोलीको राम्रो पलको आधार आज खोज्न चाहेँ॥
